Circular: A10
Performance for eight cars
Circular: A10 turns the A10 ring highway into a moving stage. A convoy of synchronized cars loops Amsterdam’s circular road, broadcasting a live sonic intervention on circularity, mobility, while experimenting with the materiality of this infrastructure. Once hailed for its silent asphalt, an acoustic technology developed to reduce traffic noise, the A10 becomes a site to research how innovation, oil industries, and policy reshape the city’s soundscape and social economy.
A project in collaboration with Agustina Woodgate, with artists and researchers Andrés García Vidal, Angeliki Diakrousi, and invited voices such as Raquel Gómez, Narcis Molina Montasell, Mark Mertens, Wouter Ghyott, Jan Hooghwerff.
Drivers: Berry Schneider, Pyotr Goloub, Katarina Juricic, Natalia Jordanova, Hanneke Klaver, Zamity Mitelembe, Hunter Nassar, Natalia Sliwowska, the musicians: Andrea, Djoeke, Gilles van Arkel, Fabian Campuzano, iara de carvalho perillo, Christopher, James Mcclure, Kiera, Paolo, Christian Smith, Juna Toksoz, and cooks: Roc Montoriol and Evert.
